A delicate dance….
It’s a metaphor that implies skill, meticulousness and balance when making an offer.
Picture this….
A newly married couple is on a journey to find their first dream home and starting their new life together.
It’s a huge step for them.
They are super excited .
They are focused.
They are prepared.
They are armed with research.
They finally after months of searching find a home they can call their own however there is already another buyer or worse two, interested in it.
What are the first time buyers to do?
This is where the skills, knowledge, & true care of a Realtor are important.
How are the Realtor’s actions equal to a delicate dance?
- He or She must be skillful to find the balance between the seller’s asking price & the buyer’s offer price without knowledge of the other offer/s at hand.
- Must be meticulous in writing the offer terms that indicate to the seller how earnest & fair the buyer will be in closing the transaction.
- They must handle the negotiations with care in case a small misstep causes them to not be the winning offer.
- Not overpaying and not losing the home are conflicting priorities. Balance is crucial.
- And the most important…the Buyers have ONLY one opportunity to be the winning offer.
This my friend is a delicate dance.
